4)Mythology Comes alive on one fine day
India believes in the strength of the GITA and the UPANISHADS. It has been a social guide and mentor for many. Mahabharata is an Epic that has mention of certain flying vehicles that had mystified many a scientist of recent years. "How could a civilisation so old , have thought of such modern equipment ", wondered Indian scientist Pradeep Radhakrishnan, an honest and sincere man with a scientific bent of mind. Pradeep had travelled widely to conduct an ideal research on 'The possibility of Flying Chariots during the early years.' He had in fact convinced a lot many doing research on the same subject that there could be no scientific explanation to possibly explain how hundreds of kilos heavy golden chariots of the old kings could fly through the air.
He had met Suzy , an American citizen, employee of NASA doing a research on the same subject. She had stuck on to her firm belief - that the possibility of flying chariots did exist. The question was, in what form. It so happened that a few friends had planned a picnic at Lonavla, a hilly tract near Mumbai. The Hero of the Epic, Mahabharata, was supposed to have made a stop over here. So, Suzy coaxed Pradeep to be a part of this picnic.
And while travelling through some undergrowth, she stumbled upon a stone idol, the one worshipped during the Mahabharata times. She gathered funds after a lot of cajoling and convincing many financiers and executed a major excavation. Gradually a big city that had lay buried for many years appeared. In that city lay a treasure house of amazingly fresh artifacts , jewellery, intact garments , shoes & slippers, helmets & royal crowns, and most important - innumerable chariots - all embedded with or made with pure Gold, silver, precious stones ! She boarded one of them - and zoom - off she flew into the evening sky ! She flew over corn fields and farm houses, forests and cities, lovers with disbelieving looks on their faces and bored night birds.
But now the press got wind of her discovery - and Pradeep had to protect her both from the press as well as the many foreign Governments who wanted to get hold of at least one chariot to be able to fathom it's secrets. But the chariots seemed to obey even a whispered command of one single leader - that of Suzy. In the meanwhile - she was told by a white robed mystic that her boarding the chariots was predestined. And it was also predestined that it was she , a foreigner who shall protect the Good citizens of this world from an attack that was expected from the evil people of the past. She made good soldiers materialise from nowhere, rivers and ponds and flowers and weapons appeared on the mere flick of her fingers. This further attracted certain evil government personnel who then took the side of the evil people of the past to gain her powers.
